The fouls last night doomed us. Carolina was in the bonus within the first 5 mins of the game. Take that away Auburn wins easily. Unfortunately, you can’t take that away

Gamecock defense was the reason USC won. USC chased AU off their golden-egg 3pt line all night - that was the difference. Auburn made 4 less 3p FGs than their season avg of 11. USC also took care of the ball with only 11 turnovers. AU was forcing 19/game on the season.
Carolina also had 16 assists on 30 FGM. AU only 9 on 25 FGM. USC's size in the back court hurt AU in their halfcourt sets and kept AU out of their transition game most of the night.
