The interesting part is that if the Chiz and Julie conversation had not been publicized the way that it was, the NCAA probably never sends that letter. However, following Julie's infamous retort, the NCAA had little choice but to do this at some point if they had no more leads to follow and no credible evidence.

Could you make that so that people with 49 year old eyes could read it?

The bigger question in this thread yet to be asked is.....has Auburn yielded to the open records request?

Which Bama board was it that had a section solely devoted to the Cam Newton Investigation?

I made myself available for all open record and Julie jokes at the start of the thread.

Shocker.

any allegations of major rules violations must meet a burden of proof, which is a higher standard than rampant public speculation online and in the media.
I think this from the NCAA sums it up.

I'm actually surprised the percentages are as close as they are (41% For/59% Against)

I was talking about the other poll (the one taylor linked), but in response to the one you post: Yea, there was "something there" in the "various p4p allegations"...they just reside in Starkville. That poll doesn't say anything about Auburn or ineligibility.

One thing is for sure - AU's recruiting will improve. Another thing is for sure - all of the schools part of trashing AU in the media etc. better watch out - better be clean - because you will be caught. Good luck Tide - must we remind you what happened after Ramsey "secretly taped recorded" us - you got busted time and time again - get ready - it will happen again - Trent is just the beginning. AU is too powerful to be fricked with.
