Conversely, it's kinda hard to evaluate Chad Morris given the dysfunction in the program that he stepped into on top of not having spring ball to actually install his offense.

I hear that. I will say that Steele came up with a brilliant plan against LSU last year and we damn near won the ballgame because of it. Even with a true frosh QB on the road. I think he's a good culture and scheme guy. Players love playing for him, but I don't think he is as good at recruiting or player development and he could have been.

I actually like this hire. His defenses at Vanderbilt were always disciplined even if they didn't have talent.

Sounds like Bama fans are scared by these comments. This excites me. The Bobo hire isn’t a WOW factor to me, but DM is a good DC and even had Vanderbilt playing hard nose defense against all the other SEC teams. Also, if I see LSU fans talking smack I will also enjoy this because we know you wanted him as well.
