Ok. Just to be clear, Burrow lost his job at Ohio State and was run out of town on a rail.

Got it!

Go Tigers

FWIW, here's one SEC ranking with Auburn a whopping ONE spot behind QBU LSU.

Would you honestly take TJ Finley/Zach Calzada over Jayden Daniels/Garrett Nussmeier?

I don't know much about either one of them, so I can't say one way or another. Must not be that much hype around them?

Who cares about hype, I'm just curious if you actually would take Finley/Calzada over those guys?

Leaving freshmen out of the equation, you basically have three 3* guys who couldn't hack it at their previous programs.

No, considering I know nothing about them.

Who are the three 3* players? Auburn has two 3* players and two young 4* players who haven't played

So if somebody transfers into Auburn, they couldn't "hack it" at another school, but that's not the case for transfers into LSU?

Finley, Calzada, Ashford.

Not at all, it's a case by case basis.

You have to look at the circumstances surrounding their transfer.

Ashford was a 4 star.

Actually, he was a 247 3* and barely a 4* in the Composite, we're talking right on the line.

Well, that makes up for the LSU fan calling your QBs borderline 5* on the first page.

Can we both agree that neither Auburn nor LSU has a guy that is scaring anybody else in the SEC right now? You could throw a few more schools in there as well.

Your starter would’ve literally been our 5th string QB this year

Our 3rd string QB is our starter…

Howard was a 5* until he committed.

So was our left tackle.

Then we've had the same thing happen to two receivers this year.

Hell, I don't know, it's definitely odd though.

Each guy this cycle was dropped about a week after their committment.

They probably rank uncommitted guys a little higher to generate clicks.

Ehhh, Daniels floor is being serviceable. But if he can come in and play like he did as a freshman three years ago, he will indeed "light it up". Since, for whatever reason, he slightly regressed over the last two years, that is a big IF. But unlike all of the others listed in this thread, he has at least shown on the field that he is capable of being one of the 3-4 best in the conference.

I actually believe Finley has a huge upside due to size and arm strength. Obviously, he is extremely raw and has yet to show much on the field.

Not that it really matters, but all indications are that Calzada isn't even in the mix for starter/2nd string.

That is because he is the worst A&M QB in decades ...
