That’s idiotic logic, no one hates you outside of some rivals. If being hated is a sign of greatness, then the Raiders and Cowboys wouldn’t be in 25 and 40 year Super Bowl droughts. Hiring Freeze may work out in the end but it’s a huge gamble with his baggage.

Not sure why one would embrace any "hate" in this situation. I don't think anyone hates this at all. You should be cautiously optimistic maybe but there are numerous, sincere doubts that run deeper than Xs and Os.
This ain't like getting Bruce Pearl. Nowhere near. This is a completely different arena and if you can't understand that and see that, I'm not sure what to tell you.
