He made it sound like it was raining spit out of the skies. Getting spit on 20+ times?!?!? Jesus. I didn't see anyone get spit on. So why were him and his friends getting drenched by it? That just sounds so absurd to me.
It was a night game against a major rival, so I'm sure there were a lot of people talking shite and acting like belligerent assholes, but this sounds to me like an Auburn fan trying to scrounge a moral victory out of a weekend where no Auburn fans won anything.

They smelled them.
One UGA fan to another : them API boys smell like cheaters, and I hate cheaters.

If any of this shite is true why didn't dude leave and not subject his already emotionally distraught bitches to any more fear for their safety?

Shut up teenager. Spend more time studying at your community college and less time posting among real auburn alum.

I would agree that there is a lot of red flags about this story and is probably exaggerated to the Max.
but if this really did happen don't write an open letter on reddit.
1) If someone throws a beer bottle at you in a bar, call the manager and tell him what happened. It is a crime to throw a bottle of beer at someone, you shouldn't just ignore it.
2) Don't send an open letter on a random website, write a letter to the university explaining what happened, try to provide some type of evidence of the altercations. This guy is probably just trying to get some attention on reddit. so he made up this story, and the media picked up on it and posted it.
3) Also if it happens repeatedly in the stadium and you can't get people to stop, go find a sheriff usually they are all over the place at Football games. Tell them what happened and they will remedy the situation.

Being a UGA alumnus, as well as a 3-year resident of downtown Athens, I lived at the bars. I’ve NEVER seen another fan spit on someone. The only time I’ve seen a drink thrown was when 2 Georgia Tech fans threw a beer bottle at a UGA fan when the Washington Street Tavern was still open. They got their arse beat for that shite
This letter is complete bullshite. I’ve been to many away games and the only bad experience I had was when SCAR raped UGA in 2012. My car was trashed. But let’s be honest, I’m not going to paint their entire fan base with a douche label because of an isolated incident. Nor would I take my story to some website to whine like a little bitch.

Didn't go to this one but I've been to Athens plenty of times decked out in Auburn gear every time the entire time - before and after the game in all the downtown bars. Never had anything like this happen at all. Usual smack talk that I expect and actually hope for as it gives me a laugh.
If another dude spit on/threw drink on/threw bottle at me or my wife I would not just walk away.
I don't believe a bit of that letter.

I love that this letter has far more replies than Muschamp being fired.

I spent all day with my buddy who is an Auburn fan, decked out in Auburn shite head to toe, drank downtown with him all day and walked around. Not one snide comment or anything. Maybe it's because I was with him?
I will say this, however, I was walking around North Campus a few years ago before the Carolina game and was wearing a faded black UGA shirt, but so faded that it looked Garnet and Black, even though it clearly said Georgia across the front. Several drunk frat boy fricks apparently can't read and I got barked at a few times. So I can vouch that's true, having been accidentally undercover that time.

That is about the only believable part...auburn fans are incognito over 70 percent of the time

Without wading through 16 pages of this thread, can someone give me the list of products that the Aubs have organized a boycott against? I need to double down on purchasing those products to offset the substantial economic dent that those companies are sure to sustain.
