Why is it the new cool thing to predict MSu beating AU every off seson? They have beaten us once in a decade and only about 3 games have been competitive.

That 3-2 game is one of the best SEC games ever.

The more I look at that schedule, the less I like it. Away to Clemson, USC, Arky, LSU and UGA and Home to Bama and Florida. Winning 3 of those 7 will be tough with a young line and new qb.

While I think the O will still put up good numbers, for us to win those games the D will have to be much, much better.

I see 4 wins and 8 toss-ups, with the other team likely being favored in at least 4 of the toss ups. Anything can happen, but 7-8 wins will be pretty good under the circumstances.

UGa sux man......
I take that back, UGa doesnt suck, UGa's coach sux. Until that man is gone, they will be regarded as in the lower part of the second tier teams in the sec.

ROFL

Seriously though, every Aubie I see at work and everywhere else is talking like y'all are gonna make another championship run again this year. And as much as I'd love to see a undefeated Iron Bowl matchup, that shite aint happening this year. Just nice to see an opinion from your fanbase that doesnt make me pee my pants laughing.

You guys can joke all you want, but you know damn well if you had the number of bye weeks scheduled before games that Bama has, you'd be shitting your pants. You tin-foil-hat-wearing mother frickers stroke out over nothing all the time. I can only imagine if you actually had something to bitch about.

Right now, we are on the every other year plan. Our past recruiting and schedule dictate that at least through 2012.

but Aubie DOES have a game vs a weak sister.

Samford homecoming.

seems SIMILAR to a week off.

Also similar to LSU's and Bama's week off against AU last season.

Those are the delusional ones, every fan base has them. Truthfully, it takes more luck than skill to make it through the SEC west unscathed. We had it last year and 04, Bama had it in 09. Tubbs left us depleted and his over signing of guys who never stepped foot on campus made it even worse.

With the gauntlet next year I would be happy with 9 wins, and reasonable with 7-8 and a bowl. 2012 is looking good.

But TICFB (This is College FB, Blood Diamond reference TIA), and no one truly knows what’s going to happen until the games have started. Look at all these guys who were predicted to dominate and did nothing(Jake Locker).

you are being ridiculous... the hard part of a SEC schedule is playing several of the better SEC teams for 3-5 weeks running... esp when this lets a middle tier team sneak up on you

Auburn has a cupcake the week before Alabama... which IMO is better for them and worse for Bama than if they had a bye week anyway... most teams (including Saban coached teams) do worse in terms of Ws and Ls after a bye than not

While i dont agree with the text bolded...i do agree that it is better to play a crap team as oppsed to a bye week. It keeps players in rythm and on their toes whiel still allowing for ehaling and for coaches to make live game speed chagnes.
