He's probably lurking. I'll throw this in, just in case.
Chiz has now signed 103 players in the 4 yrs he's been at Auburn.

haven't been over there in ages.

These KIA owners are showing some serious butthurt. Get used to losing the best players to Saban. Get used to looking up at Bama in recruiting and in the SEC standings. It will be that way for at the least the next 5 years. The sooner you guys realize that, the better you will be.

I don't think you know what the word 'pattern' means.

Auburn and Florida are adhering to an idea that Mike Slive wanted done in the past. Guarantee that within two years, every SEC school will be offering the multi-year contracts.

I'm betting Auburn and other schools will be seeing lawsuits from students in other sports that aren't offered multi year scholarships now.
eta - for example, I'm sure female athletes will be claiming gender bias in awarding of multi-year scholarships. 85 males given them, and not a single female. Where's the fairness in that?

You'll probably see the other sports fall in line with multi-year schollies as well.

If the current signees were given muli-year deals, will the rest of the team still be signing one year deals in July?
I think they need to start by offering those poor guys on the basketball team 4-yr deals. Tony cutting them at a rate that would make Saban jealous.

There isn't fairness, and I think you'll see them get it as well.

Why eventually. I mean, if Auburn was truly about being fair, their women's basketball, equestrian, softball, gymnastics teams would all be getting four year scholarships right now. Sounds like Auburn doesn't believe in equality in sports and is gender biased. Perhaps NOW should be notified about this unfair and discriminatory practice going on down on the Plains now.
