Never in Saban's tenure has the rest of the SECW been as close to Bama in games. When a 6-5 AU team with a backup QB had them on the ropes, it says something about the season.

You haven’t been paying attention then. If you don’t think Auburn is a different team at home with Nix starting I’m not sure what to tell you.

I’ll be honest. I penciled this game as a loss until I saw where Bo wasn’t able to play.

I mean you never know how the game will really go, but I would think Auburn would’ve moved the ball better with Nix. The offense was really limited with Finley, especially after he got hurt. I’m surprised he was even taking snaps like that but there must not have been a plan beyond him.
Of course if Auburn scores a couple more times so does Alabama probably and it’s a different game.

All that to say that the OP is really a bad take

Bama's talent wasn't down this year, but something is not right on both sides of the ball. AU looked like the better team, at least on Defense.

No they didn't. They exploited the main weakness at right tackle and Mcreary held/assaulted recievers all night with n ok calls. Other than that, Bama allowed 159 yards to almost 400 for Bama and that was without our best weapon most of the game.

One of the rare times I agree with you.

I think they’re young with little leadership.

I thought both D’s played well. Auburn played really well.

Bull shite. They attacked from both sides and AU had great coverage all night. First time in a long time AU's secondary wasn't chasing Bama WRs all night. How many yards rushing did Bama have? Compare that to what the rest of the league did to AU.

And one of those went through Shivers' hands and bounced off his facemask.
