Gus' record in big games at JH is quite good.

His record in big games away from JH is pretty awful.

Digging a little deeper, is this really an indictment of AU? In three of those games, they were significant underdogs:

@ #1 Alabama in 2016 and @ #3 Clemson in 2017. I think every team in America would have lost those two games, outside of maybe Alabama and Clemson.

And Auburn really had no business in the 2016 Sugar Bowl against Oklahoma. LSU should've been there, but they couldn't get 1 yd against Florida in late November.

Next game against ranked team was in 2015, at #25 Texas A&M, which Auburn won 26-10.

So no, it's only 5 straight losses to ranked teams away from home.

Wait, wait, he meant every odd year when there was a Democratic President and during a leap year. He just read it wrong on a TiderInsider post a buddy sent him.

Can the other ranked teams besides UCF claim a national championship?

Only 9? That can't be right. Maybe that beating from UCF just makes it seem worse. Hopefully the SEC will learn not to send a team of boys to do a mans job.
