shite like this is the reason i hate auburn.

Not because they got a couple of thugs on their team because i could really care less....but how dare they frick up the annual competition known as the Fulmer Cup....i didn't even get to enjoy a week of it before it was wrapped up and done.

Register this....paperwork that. After nearly 10 pages, nobody has even thought that the gun could easily be 'hot', or even have the serial ground off. It was armed robbery you know, I'd bet they didn't factor in the registration prior to the home invasion. I'd bet they didn't worry to much about the drinkin' age either.

What self respecting gangsta thug uses a traceable gun?

these weren't gangsta thugs these were church group kids. They went to auburn for the religious experience.

Well assuming that the op is telling the truth, the serial number must still be intact in order for it to have been traced to anyone.

However, I have indeed known of morons to file the serial from the slide, but not the receiver. Pretty common for pistols to have multiple serials, especially on surplus weapons.

Did she report the gun stolen? If not then she has some explaining to do. Her options (1) she gave the gun to the 4 players herself. If they are under the legal age to own a firearm, she would be admitting to a crime. (2) She gave the firearm to Dyer. We know the implications of this scenario. (3) It was stolen. If that were the case then why didnt she report it?

The fact that the gun was found in the possession of Dyers team mates doesnt look very good for Dyer.

(4) She didn't know the gun was missing. Wouldn't make her the brightest crayon in the box, but it's happened before.

You're right. And that's probably the best case scenario for her.

If Dyer knew where she kept it, she may never knew he stole it.

And what makes you so certain that he stole it from her? Do you have some inside knowledge?

Good. People have been too goddamn sensitive in this thread. Not to mention ignorant, foolish, moronic, and naive.

Yeah, there was some stupid stuff said in this thread. The fact that some people lack the knowledge of NICS &/or Alabama laws surprises me

Also the point about leveraging one person against another is on the money. You can bet your arse Dyer's girlfriend would sing like a bird if she thought charges against her were going to be filed because a gun tied to her was used in a robbery.

so if she says that you, Titus Pullo, actually were involved then you will go to jail? What if she points at some random guy in the courtroom? Will he automatically go to jail?

you're an idot if you think all you have to do is accuse someone to have them found guilty.

I dunno, but it's about to get good. I think someone on the team is going to get hurt or killed
/hijack

BTW: My CC is with Shelby County and there was not a place to put weapons listed.
