Good defenses rely heavily on having the depth to keep fresh bodies on the field all the time without sacrificing a lot of talent or ability. Auburn doesn't have that kind of depth, so your defense just can't overcome the bad positions your offense tends to put them in. When you don't have a legit 2 deep, your offense can't keep going 3 and out over and over.
