at trying to say this is a nice area. You'd be better off comparing this to woodlawn/ingelnook.

You are not even close to being right. Nobody was told they would start and if Saban is saying that, then just consider the source. You can't believe a word that guy tells you.

Recruits were told they would have a chance to start if they worked hard but would have to win the job just like anybody else.

I don't know why I'm trying to talk good sense to a fan of a school that is the basic equivalent of Pravda relative to giving you a straight truth.

Tuscaloosa/Northport is an Elba/Brantley type of place.

Pissing Match 101 is tough for the Boogs especially when they are dead wrong.

Just say you're wrong and I'll leave it be, FWIW I've been to Auburn and T-Town. I'm not partial to either because it's flat, by comparison to Fay, but I had a much better time at Auburn.

i think we can all agree that saban used PT as a recruiting tool his first 2 years and chizik did for his first and will for his second as well. the big question is what happens in the third year. saban did well and now we just have to wait and see what chizik does.

i dont understand why some people are trying to bash Chizik for using PT to recruit. every coach does. its smart. geez

You are the one posting gross inaccuracies and using Nick "I'm not going to be the coach at alabama" Saban as a source.....

I may not know everything, but I do know that recruits were not guaranteed starting spots by Auburn coaches. I know this much....

I believe a coach that talked to the recruits and relayed what they told him over some Internet poster who thinks he was in the room with Saban.

Saban mentioned this at a Red Elephant Club meeting. He wasn't bashing The Univ. of Auburn just pointing out the facts.

Holy shite! Just when he think he could not be more of a scumbag hypocrit he goes and does it again.

How is that being a scumbag? He was just answering questions by Bama fans. Have you ever been in a REC meeting?

I really think gumps should try to stay on their own forums more.

That way less people will realize how stupid they are.

He is critical of people doing the same things he pioneers. All the fricking time. Over and over and it makes him look like a lying hypocrit with ZERO integrity.

Which is what he is.

You missed the point numbnuts.

But did illustrate the point.

In showing once again gumps are often too stupid to comprehend what the point is in the first place.

Thanks I suppose.
