People have different sides to them. Armed robbery isn't something you just decide to do for a first time. It's likely he's done things in his past, leading up to an incident like this. Not knocking your friendship with you, but nothing surprises me with their actions and most times, the people that know them best, actually know them the least.

I was listening to that. That was a very sobering look at what these guys have done to their lives.
If a defense attorney says your case is basically hopeless (except for the guy who flips first), you know you're in pretty bad shape.
