Prior to the cigar thing, I really had no problems with Auburn. Because we traditionally backed them in the Iron Bowl, plus when they played Ole Miss, they were kind of my 2b SEC-W team (after Mississippi State). Since the cigar thing, stomping on the Eye (I'm pretty sure they either started it, or made it high-profile), Chaz Ramsey, Nick Fairley and $cam, they're way, way, way down there, nearly, but not quite to Bama and Ole Miss territory.
Now, heck I like Arkansas better than Auburn, and I don't like Arkansas at all.

Most of the Auburn fans I have met have been cool, but they were at LSU for the game. I've never been to Auburn for a game, so I don't know how hostile they are at home.

I'll go out on a limb and say most Auburn fans are very polite to visitors at home games. You'll always have the few assholes, but overall, not too much animosity towards visitors.

For me, during this week of football, all the hatred for Auburn I have comes out. The only thing that could make me hate them more is if they gave some lame arse excuse why they lost.

Does anyone know when the AU/LSU game is this season?
I know we have a cupcake this Saturday, but LSU usually gives us a decent game and know it's coming up. I just want to make sure I stock up on victory cigars. Anyway I was just wondering what week we play the swamp cats. TIA

I have no beef with LSU the school or the team, and honestly some of the coolest fans at an SEC school i have met were LSU fans. some of the posters on this site annoy me from time to time, but i just ignore them - cause the majority of LSU fans here are ok.
