Somebody needs to hook this kid up with those miracle workers who got Michael Oher eligible at Ole Miss. With the BYU online courses....he'll be an honor student by signing day.

I'm on it dvlsadvocat...I remembered our conversation the other night about this and I forwarded him the following link:
The mormon miracle workers

No but seriously his core gpa is fine and he has been making good progress and has a "good chance to qualify". He needs to raise his ACT and he will have three more chances to do so. Not saying he is a shoe in by any means, but he doesn’t have "zero chance" to qualify either. This is coming from his coach and the Auburn coaches.

Michael Oher had no trouble getting into Ole Miss. You're thinking of Jerrell Powe.

We only wish we had a player with the all everything-academic abilities of someone like Terrence Cody...

Here is another sweet quote from this guy...
Rollison won't divulge his GPA, claiming he doesn't know it, "I never checked it. I really don't know." His ACT needs improvement as he scored a 13 the first time he took it. "It wasn't a good score. I'm taking it again whenever I can."

Who the frick doesn't know their GPA?
This guy is JUCO bound.

Seeing how he took it in tenth grade, there is a good chance he can get it up.

exactly. that is a little below average score for a 10th grader but nothing that bad. He wouldnt know how to do any of the math section as the math section on the act is algebra 2, which most kids dont take until their junior year anyway.

How about the GPA? If he doesn't know it then who does?
You can't be too comfortable with a guy that has no idea what his GPA is...that's absurd.

Are you fricking kidding me, it's a 13. I could walk into the testing room after a 7-day bender and score a 20.

the thing is that if he was to make a qualifying ACT score, it would be too high of a jump. The clearinghouse would make him take it again to prove that it was real. So he would have to do it twice in a row for him to get approved.

not totally true. if he were to score an 18, he would be fine. he just scored a 15 on his last one, so he has two more times to take it. not that big of deal
