Florida could have higher numbers if not the day before Easter.

i left at half it was so fricking hot in that stadium haha
I left at the half of AU game also. They encourage it at AU. Have a running clock and play only 3rd teamers. When someone named Brent Poole Jr. made a tackle, it was time to go.

Still had more than UK. Also, a huge chunk of the stadium was blocked off due to renovations.
Pio, I kinda did. I lurked still and post sometimes.

I would hope so considering FL has 15 million MORE residents than KY.

Bamas radio announcers said it looked a little above 50k.
Think they were 28,000 people off?

Do people take pride in high spring game attendance?
What about scrimmage and practice attendance?

I thought Kentucky fans weren't at the baseball game today because of the spring game?

Generally speaking, it is indicative of having a supportive fan base. Across all the big 6 leagues, I think you'll find the best teams have the highest spring game attendance.

99% of Florida's population is over 90 and from the north where they think b10 is king so I don't think state population has anything to do with spring game attendance. When I lived in Alabama I would drive 6 hours to see the Florida spring game.

I know. I live in FL. However, 95% of people here are UF fans, even the transplants.

You must be thinking of Keeneland and Thunder Over Louisville. I don't know why anyone would think it had to do with the spring game. People have given up on Joker. He's done.

There are parts of the state that are very pro UF with Tampa being one of them despite having USF. That being said Miami and FSU have their pockets of the state too.
I lived next door to an Ohio State fan once, that was such torture because he believed Big 10 football was so superior to SEC football and blah, blah, blah. It's too bad he had moved by the time 41-14 happened I so wanted to rub it in his face.
