Definitely a great atmosphere to be around. I can't wait to visit for the UGA-Bama game as an unbiased fan.

God's Country.

Do not expect it to be appreciated by a good percentage of the heathen on this site, though.

I won't. It's pretty evident that for each down vote I get counts for one jealous soul.

You are going to have a GREAT time.

Especially if you win.

I mean, if you're an Auburn fan, we spit on you. But you'll be fine, seeing as you're a Bama man.

This board conditioned me to expect a troll photo at the end of the OP. Yet nothing.

Upvote. Athens is great.

Gameday picture was from the blackout beatdown of 2008. Ironic

I like this one from that gameday, with my UGA flag and the Hank/stars and bars flag on full display

I haven't been to Athens since I was a teenager, I'll have to make that trip year after next since my Aunt and Uncle are empty nesters and I'll have a free place to stay.

Srs question, is that place pretty much overrun with hipsters?
