Ole Miss is certainly much better than I thought they would be. But the correct answer is...

State is better than Ole Miss. The rest of the nation agrees as State is ranked #15 in the country and OM is unranked.
Our offenses are comparable (State #43 in scoring offense and OM #46), and State's defense is better (State #15 in scoring defense vs OM's #59).
I think the Egg Bowl will be a tough one, but I think State will win.
P.S. On this board in the preseason I predicted OM to be 6-5 going into the Egg Bowl, lose to State, but then win their bowl to go 7-6 on the season.
