Big Blue news in the morning U.K. Fans?
This guys been a good follow today...attempting to decipher his latest tweet is the reason for my first sentence in this post.
LINK
If you look at his tweets, he has texts from AU coach wanting more money for a player.

This is the issue isn't it? It really does suck because I think AU and UA being good at basketball is great for the conference and makes the off season more interesting....both are stepping up their game, recruiting well, and really just getting going.

It's likely going to be Pitino's resignation and possibly Jurich along with him (WDRB is a local Louisville station BTW and he's also one of the Louisville beat guys). I work pretty close to UofL's campus and deal with their people alot. That was the word when I left work.

Is that in the Louisville section of the DOJ filing? I've only read the Auburn one.

The question is was the $100k in addition to the free hookers? Pitino bringing the A game up there.
The observation is that danged sure explains why the SEC's been sucking at hoops. We're getting WAY outbid.
It's a totally separate thing.

Gotcha. What drew my attention was his Big with the period after it for no reason, other than a swipe at U.K.

Yeah, I think it's just emphasizing the big but probably also trying to stir some shite.
A lot of the media here in Louisville are calling for the AD to be cleaned out. It's getting nasty.
If there was anything involving Kentucky or Cal at this point that was in that affidavit, it'd be all over the place. Obviously that's not to say we don't get hit in the next wave or something. But it was my understanding some folks at UofL were told to get things set up for a press conference tomorrow.

This quote is hilarious.. You can never make "too much money" and life is about taking risks. What a moronic statement.
Stupidity and weakness is why people cheat.

Wow, but 10 minutes ago you posted this in another thread:

That Interim President isn't going to let him resign IMO. The Athletic Department has no love for him because he was brought in to try to rectify the massive money issues with the UofL Foundation and its ties to the AD.
They're going to let the Interim get his hands dirty on this one I think. People there are fed up.

Yea. Folks say this all isn't over, by a long shot with the FBI.

I meant to put firing?
ETA: Honestly, it's hard to call. Not many Universities would put up with what they have to begin with so a resignation is definitely possible (I've heard both).

The FBI just created their NCAA Basketball tip line.
Call it if you have any info. I wonder how many coaches scared to death will be calling tonight?

Arkansas lost a big recruit to MSU during this time, right?
Posted on 9/26/17 at 4:59 pm to higgs_boson
Yes. Believe me, it's been bumped on the recruiting board.
Reggie Perry. Played with Arkansas AAU team and entire starting five committed to UA. Perry all of a sudden changes AAU teams, decommits, claiming father is ill and then commits to Miss State. And yes, he was a highly rated 5 star player.
Those 5 had played together a while on the AAU circuit and him going back on his pledge was very head scratching to everyone.

I hope they have a big team to take all of the incoming Saban accusation calls.

FTR, we may have jumped the gun on assuming the 2 players involved for AU.
