you know that every assistant coach's butt just tightened a little bit.
Especially since a lot of them probably feel that if they don't do this sort of shite they are going to be unemployed.

Agreed. Unless there's more, you (through Person as an agent of the program) broke the rules but it wasn't the systemic, program-led cheating we've seen in other *ahem Ole Miss ahem* places.
Still probably looking at sanctions and maybe a postseason ban - which without the guys involved wasn't happening anyhow - but there's not going to be LOIC or any of the other really bad stuff.
I agree. Violations, sure, but it's not cheating unless we find out more.
Given how the NCAA acts these days, I think they'll struggle to find a compelling reason to go after Auburn hard (unless it expands beyond Person). I think the NCAA will feel pressure to make examples of programs, but hopefully the NCAA will also have bigger and easier targets.

So far, (by my count) three Nike schools (assuming OK St is Nike), two Adidas, and two UA.

Wiley's mom and Heron's mom also got paid a little bit.

I'm guessing he'd just say the kids deserve to be paid. The whole amateur line has always been BS.

He was making a lot more than that with his NBA pension.

BB players getting money is the worst part. I dont really care about basketball, but this is sure to bring the NCAA to the AU AD.

Obviously fire & disassociate Person, vacate any wins for games they played in & I would think the NCAA would be satisfied.

Players become ineligible too
FBI framing this as coaches gone rogue which will help Auburn.
Heron/Wiley out is basically season ending for us

Wouldn't this be punishment enough in regards to the NCAA? Maybe fire Pearl too since it is a lost season.

Well, they won't need to spend much time on this part of it

this is the stupidest form of punishment there is. it's also the closest we'll ever get to going back in time.

Lol you're crazy if you don't think every top tier school is at least somewhat involved in this. I'm not naive enough to think kids are passing up $100,000 to play in freaking Miami or LA to play for free in Kansas.
