And I suspect the statement about only Oklahoma and Missouri offering to let him play basketball is bullshite too. If CBP will let Brandon Mitchell, why would he not let DGB? I suspect if DGB or the parents were never told he could do both at Arkansas as well, it was because they never asked.

The Beckhams don't seem very smart to me. They admit they sent him to a school where he probably won't win anything, but they perceive as a "safe route" to the NFL. Of course they are opportunists who just happened to adopt a blue-chipper like the Touhys.

I bet the "booster" was a Mizzou fan, just like the "Petrino to Oregon" shite was.

I love me some Paul Petrino, and I believe him when he says he can coach a WR better than anybody else in the country.

Confident little fricker. I love this coaching staff.

Good God some of yall are MAD

I'm not mad that DGB chose Mizzou, it's all the fricking bull shite in that article that pisses me off and this was the worst.

Two months earlier, Pinkel had been arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, but John and Tracy Beckham said that didn’t change their opinion of him.

“I felt very bad for him,” Tracy Beckham said. “I don’t think he’s some crazy drunk. I do think if that could have been other places — Alabama, Arkansas — it would have never happened.”

Is she implying that the Police and State Troopers in Arkansas and Alabama corrupt and don't follow the law? I believe she is. She just questioned the integrity of all Police and State Troopers in both states and that’s what pisses me off.

To hell with her! I only hope that the Police and State Troopers get wind of this when the Beckhams enter either state and I hope they show her and her family just how corrupt they can be.

Tracy Beckham couldn't have made a more biased and ignorant comment if she had tried and her comment tells me all I need to know about her.

I agree Choctaw, we dodged a bullet with that crazy mom. She comes off as borderline dumbass.

This has bad news written all over it. His career at Mizzou will be marred by some weird shite with his mom, I can already see it now.

I'm honestly shocked he got pulled over and arrested in Columbia. Like it or not, there are corrupt police everywhere.

She seems to be about as subtle as Kristi Malzahn. If Mizzou plays Arkansas, DGB is going to have a bullseye on his back. You don't disrespect Petrino like that where his players can find out about it.

No doubt but to openly make such an idiotic statement in an article WITHOUT ANY frickING EVIDENCE TO BACK IT UP reeks of a piss poor attempt to justify what Pinkel did.

Apparently over the legal limit but I haven't see it posted anywhere.

LINK

Pinkel cooperated with the deputy and was booked at the Boone County Jail on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, Reddin said. Pinkel posted a $500 bail and was released on the first-offense charge.

Reddin would not comment on whether Pinkel agreed to a breath or blood test. Reddin said the case would be presented to prosecutors.

I honestly wish the PDs in Arkansas were that corrupt. How many of our players have been booked on drunken and possession charges in just the past 5 years? I can think of 3 off the top of my head. I can't speak for Alabama, but Arkansas is pretty strict on MJ poss and DWI.

Pinkel is an irresponsible jackass who doesn't care if he ruins some poor families life by crashing into them drunk. I hope he drunk drives right through this stupid bitches house.

That's exactly my point. She throws out shite comments like that without knowing what the hell she is talking about in a pathetic attempt to justify what Pinkel did.

So, serious question. Does that booster (if this crap is even true) get us in trouble at all? It seems crazy that it would. Especially since he didn't come here. Nobody can control who wants to call up and do that.
