Yes..and I could see them naming A&M. So not good for us. Everybody makes billions off of JFF but he can't get $5000 from autographs logic. Not fair really. NCAA rules need to change. They shouldnt be the governing board of amateurs anymore as it has become a multibillion $ phenomenon.

So, can anyone tell me where the case is leaning towards as far as who wins. Manziel or NCAA

Johnny's filthy rich, has a heisman, spends his off time banging the hottie(s) of his choice, and will get drafted if he doesn't play another college snap.

No matter what happens here, he's already won.

This sounds like butthurt... rules are rules. I am sure if this was David Ash you would want him to be suspended

His success comes from running around in circles until someone gets open. That's not gonna work in the NFL. Even if he does get drafted, he'll just be another Tebow.

Serious rules question - is there any risk (NCAA wise) to letting him practice?

Other than not getting the backup first team snaps, I don't see a down side.

But he's a great coach and clearly the mastermind behind A&M's success

No doubt.

Until the NCAA comes up with a ruling, he can go about business as usual. Right now it's just an investigation.

How much has Tebow banked just by getting drafted? Just another Tebow would mean he adds a couple or three million to his already significant bank balance.

Most people would consider that to be a pretty good win.

LOL, this guy saw "five figures" and thought it meant "5,000".

Dude,

five figures =/= $5,000
five figures = $10,000-$99,999

He's fine for now. The question comes in games, if he hasn't been declared eligible by the NCAA by the start of the season, any games he plays in are subject to being vacated.

This is probably the biggest slap on the wrist ever. Ohio State's win over Arkansas in 2010 was vacated....but everyone still knows who won.

Sumlin won't last long either, he gets a decent NFL offer after this year he will bolt, and fast..
