If it wasn't a batshit crazy week Oklahoma St would be sitting near #10 right now. Ironic that the biggest obstacle to Alabama before this weekend is STILL the biggest obstacle. Less of an obstacle than the were, obviously, but an obstacle nonetheless.
If Oklahoma St beats OU (they will not).. I think it's a coin toss as to who gets in. As ludicrous as that shite sounds.

I think LSU fans are a little more knowledgeable than the average college football fan when it comes to the BCS system.
You should have a talk with the dozens who tout Okie St will have a stronger argument because of playing in a Championship game.

Ive recently noticed that Fear smells curiously similar to corndogs. Gotta love swamp-aggie logic, you would have to be a first class idiot to believe a team that just lost to a terrible Iowa State team is going to jump a team that played toe to toe all the way into overtime with the #1 team in the country. Good luck vs Arky!

And OU will beat OSU. That's a fact.

You are a first-class idiot if you don't realize it's a realistic possibility.
The computers love Oklahoma State.
They are going to move up in the human polls in the next few weeks (assuming they beat OU).
All of the coaches in the Big XII are likely to vote them #2 at the end of the season.
You guys are the ones who aren't seeing things clearly, whether Alabama deserves it over Oklahoma State or not.

I think I will take the word of the people who are actually paid to analyze the BCS and all possible scenarios therein over some overweight LSU fan sitting in front of his desktop with a beer in his hand.

Classic response from a fan who doesn't want to realize that OSU is alive and well in the national championship discussion.
Oh, and I love that Alabama fans think LSU fans are "scared."
Sure, we'd rather play someone else besides Alabama. You guys are the #2 team in the country. Why wouldn't we want to play someone else that isn't quite as strong as Alabama? If the roles were reversed, you would feel the same.
That being said, what makes you so confident that you guys would come into New Orleans and beat LSU in front of a 65-70% LSU crowd? You couldn't even beat them in front of 100,000 of your own fans.

You actually think Alabama fans don't know how to get tickets to the Super Dome? As many times as we've been there I think the stands would be closer to a 50/50 split

Really irrelevant to our discussion, especially considering Oklahoma State's computer score will go up much higher with a win over Oklahoma than Alabama's would with a win over Auburn.
The main thing that it will come down to is the human voters.
Oklahoma State and Alabama are 2 and 3 in the computers, respectively. The rankings aren't changing, only the gap in the computers.
Posted on 11/20/11 at 9:39 pm to BayouBengals03
What do you think a 6-6 Iowa St does to Okie's computer rankings? They're probably about to lose 2 more. What if they win one more.. over Oklahoma this weekend? Reckon that hurts too?
To be the best, gotta beat the best, in the BCS NC game. Just unlucky for yall, it's Bama again.
Being the winningest team in the BCS conferences the last four yrs helps folks to have confidence in their team.

Well, coming from someone who has lived in New Orleans and who actually knows how the tickets are distributed (clearly you don't), it will absolutely not be anywhere near a 50/50 split. 60/40 at best.
