Well the feeling is mutual duck. I think you are the biggest idiot on the boards that has never been banned. I think you just like to cause problems, type STUPID STUFF!!! in all caps with !!!! and aggravate people w no substance to your inane posts that you never back up with anything. Who was it the other day that went off on you? Nuts4LSU? Your like a little unhappy kid that pesters grown ups for attention and that is the bottom line with you duck.

95% of Alabama fans have not put one foot in a UA classroom? Seriously? That a fact? I guess I can't be a Wisconsin fan because I've never been in the state. Your logic is flawed.
I do love these arguments. Both side throws out facts that they think will support their side. Then the other fan bases throws out different ones. It's a tug of war that will never end, and that's great!
I do think ND would have jumped AU IF the possibility was there, but alas, it wasn't. Would Alabama? Maybe, but probably not. But if the media is a measuring stick about Alabama, once we win a few games in a row, SI, ESPN, and other media say, "Bama's Back!" That hold some weight.

I have never understood this debate. Sure, most Alabama fans are not alumni, but doesn't that go for all fanbases?

There is some precedent for Bama being left out just like Auburn was in 2004. In 1994, even if Bama had won the SECCG over Florida and won their bowl, there was little or no chance they would have leapfrogged either Penn State or Nebraska. In '04, nobody was going to jump ahead of OU and USC either.

I'm not 100% sure that you are right on this. I believe that in '94, the postseason was a much different animal than it is now. Remember the Bowl Coalition? IF Alabama had held on to beat Florida in the SECG they would have remained #3 in the polls. #2 Penn State, as Big Ten champ HAD to go to the Rose Bowl to play Oregon, who was somewhere in the top 15. Alabama, as #3, would have absolutely been the opponent for #1 Nebraska, giving them a shot at winning the title.
