He could recruit Texas very well here, imo. He's gotten some higher caliber recruits to Baylor the past 2-3 years.

He didn't have RG3 at Houston. Hell, he was the only FBS HC that even recruited RG3 as a QB.

He won at Houston also.
Briles would be a good hire. I don't understand the "do not wants". Arky won't be getting a huge hire, just won't happen. I feel you guys will be unhappy with most and are only happy with ungettable coaches.

Arky should rehire Petrino. He could give a press conference saying how sorry he was and how he messed up his life. Arky could say that everyone deserves a second chance and get back the only coach that made them competitve.

I mean ok I guess if you offer him Saban money he'd take it but are you really going to do that? WVU isn't that poor, they could bump him up to 3 mill or so.

I think you'll get a good coach from a lesser school and other coaches will use Arky to get more cash from their current school.
A couple of names I've seen thrown around were there when Richt was on the hotseat.
If UGA can't make them budge, Arky has no chance.

Richt was hired 11 years ago. Money talks and as long as Richt was coach UGA didn't put a check in front of anyone.

Yes, he coached Kevin Kolb also

A possibility. Strong, strong ties in Tejas. IMHO, this is key for Arkansas to improve recruiting.
I don't like him though. Guess it doesn't matter, I don't like Nolan, Hootie, DVH or BMFP.

I saw nothing wrong with what Coach Briles did there. Most players dont even speak to the media after game, per coaches orders.
