No you read it right, but the story the "wittness" gave does not match that of the bartenders and bouncers.
The media painted him as Captain America, but he was there to stalk his ex who just got a restraining order filed against him yesterday. He then threw the "first punch" hitting a player, got kicked out, and somewhere between then and everyone leaving a fight started in the parking lot.
At this point no one believes he was just breaking up a fight or being a hero.
The truth has yet to reveal itself though.

Her whole story has been tough to believe and I think yesterday raised serious doubts. The kicked still occurred though. So the arrests were justified.
Pulled from a truck? The truck hit Ware. Then the guys tried getting them off Andrew likely.
Marine as a hero? Yeah right....

I know. That wasn't the point I stated it. JJ's image was being torn to shreds as a thug that beat up an innocent marine that was trying to help a guy out of a fight.
