If you're gonna let in SMU for variety's sake they probably should have let in Army too.
You would have had to axe Penn State or Tennessee though, if you're following the "better record and better variety" criteria.

I mean... here we are, able to agree or disagree. My grandfather was a paratrooper the 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles and fought and was wounded in Bastogne. Glad we could agree or disagree because of them badasses! I wanted Army to make it to the playoffs. But they got handled by ND. They don't belong there. I am not trying to argue with you. I was being real.

There's about six spots I'd be okay with them taking but they have about as much chance of winning it all as those six spots. Go Navy beat Army.

I was really pulling for Army but this is why straight won loss records without consideration of strength of schedule does/should not mean much as far as playoffs go.

Was hoping they'd beat Navy. Nephew is there first year and was part of WalkOn. First time I've really watched the whole pageantry of it all. Enjoyed that part of it. Game kind of sucked. But great seasons for both!
