It would have just been nice for them to get some recognition. As you pointed out, they are the last ones to play for love of the game and institution. Everybody else plays for money.

They have a good cheer called this way. So when the offense has the ball as a cadet you point your hand in the direction that the offense is going in a karate chop like motion and say this way. It is pretty effective.
