Not even in the same ballpark

Chad Morris went 4-18 and 0-14 in conference. We got our arse whipped by Western Kentucky and North Texas at home 45-19 and 44-17.

Matt Luke went 15-21 and 6-18 in Conference.

Folks don't realize how bad he truly was. I'm not a fan of Pittman as a coach, but Chad Morris makes him look like Vince Lombardi in comparison.

Pittman gets the blame, when the blame really falls at the feet of our administration.

I remember when Starkel transferred to Arkansas. He had won us a lot of games we had no business winning. Then against us, Chad finally puts Nick in, and we break his arm first drive.

He transfers again and takes some G5 school to a conference ship.

When Starkel went down, I was like literally thinking, “Damn, Chad can’t catch a break”

I mean last season, Arky pissed away a win over Okla St, had more than enough chances to beat A&M. They were right there with Texas and Missouri.

I don't think they are that far away.

That's a big part of the problem, to be honest. The offense was pretty damn good last year, and we could have easily been an 8 win team in the regular season. But we couldn't close games.

Same story in 2023. Arkansas was 4-8, but 5 of those losses were by one possession. 4 of those in the SEC. Pitman just hasn't shown that killer instinct you need.

If our offense can’t get it done that is on Petrino, not Pittman.
If our defense stinks, that’s on TWill, not Pittman.

Those guys are the HC IMO

And if we lose, that's on Pittman. That's why he's the one paid $5.25 million a year.

shhh, don’t say that the sheep might get restless. They have been told Arkansas is just light years behind every other school and can’t compete so why try. Neveimd the fact with a little bit better head coach and slightly better talent we could be back to at least winning 8/9 games a year.

So the difference in 4-8 and 8-4 is a coin flip. Say we get a better coach and better talent and go 8-4.... You don't think the other schools will then go"get a better coach and talent". It's a cycle.

Not to mention going 8-4 doesn't really excite me much. You're not gonna win the SEC or a National Title with that.

Someone would have to bleed out a massive amount of money every year just to keep up with the middle of the pack teams. That is not sustainable with no ROI.
