Can somebody explain to me why he went from your leading to receiver to being no factor at all? Change in offensive scheme? Butt heads with the coaches? He sucks? What?

Looks like he’s in line to start for us and I’m a little concerned about it

Being our leading receiver wasn't saying much in 2017, but he caught most of his yardage on play action deep shots down the field. Morris' offense seems to rely more on short, quick RPO passes and screens. He didn't mesh well with the new coaching staff at all obviously which is why he quit like 3 games into the season.

I think we have a more explosive player behind him and I’m thinking blocking is playing a big role in the decision to start him

He got beat out by Mike Woods and was losing his starting spot which upset him. I’m sure he’ll be all-SEC though at Mizzou which is just our luck these days.

Nance is a good WR and one of the few bright spots on our 2017 team.

Whatever happened in 2018 shouldn't be a knock on his ability. He'll produce in the right spots.

I hope he is the deep threat replacement to Emanuel Hall!

Edit: Assuming Bryant can get the ball to him deep (in this case our offense will be absolutely insane)

We had a ton of players leave under Morris. Most we were thrilled to see head out the door, but some were good players who just didn't mesh with the new staff.

As someone else said, with our luck he'll be All-SEC for Mizzou and probably have 150 yards receiving against us.

He's not that good, he was on a team with a lot of very bad receivers and he quit on the team 4 games in, so frick him. With the freshman we brought in he wouldnt play this year.

I would ignore this post if I'm a MIZ fan looking for a relevant answer to the OP's question.

You're full of shite, hes not that good, he was the best receiver on a team with shitty WRs. In his only year playing for Arkansas he had 539 yards and 5 TDs. He got beat out by a 3* freshman the first week of fall camp last year then quit on the team. frick Nance and if I had to guess he wont do shite for Mizzou. Losing Pettway was way worse then losing Nance and he wasnt even a big loss.

Nah, dude asked a question and had a concern about him and I gave my honest answer. I'll admit I really dont like Nance for just giving up on the team after he got beat out by a 3* freshman(Mike Woods who actually is a solid WR). With our luck Nance probably will go off and be all-sec but he never did anything of importance at Arkansas.

You sound like you're arguing against him being All SEC or something.

The kid will put up numbers, he's not that bad.

Edit: Literal numbers

Y'all got a good one as long is he buys into what your coaches are teaching. I think he will fit better into y'alls passing scheme compared to our current one.

Nance is alright. In his last year with Bielema(2017), I think Pro Football Focus said he was the best deep threat in the SEC on catches over 20+ yards.

His problem last year was Ty Storey and Cole Kelley were his QB's.

DGB led the SEC in TD receptions before he turned into a complete retard
