Not happening, you do realize in the comp polls Ga Southern is ranked higher than Iowa St, and Miss St is WAAAAAAAAY higher than Iowa St, OSU will freefall to at least 6

No fricking way OSU only drops 1 spot.

....From losing to Iowa State which is 6-4 and not in the top 25.

The colors guys on the Stanford game already stated they all expect 1-3 all SEC West. They don't see how it can't be any other way.

LOL

That loss in OT was to the #1 team, not a below .500 in conference team.

Don't be surprised if the SEC has 4 teams in the Top 10! Georgia will benefit from all these loses as well! IF LSU can close it out, has there ever been another team beat this many Top 25 teams in one season?

OSU will fall at least 6 spots in the human polls.

human pollsters might take into account, whether fair or not, the tragedy the university went through earlier that day and give them somewhat of a pass.

I would like someone who disagrees to post their prediction of the human polls.

I perosnally think Okie will be behind not only va tech but standford as well. they wiill be 6th.

standord only lost is oregon and we are higher than they are. they technically have a better resume than we do or at least just as equal.

stanford is the team IMHO that could half arse play it's way back end. they have a pac 12 champ game. they will be no worse than 5th tomorrow

Hogs will be 3

Hogs are probably the 3rd best team in CFB right now, but they computers will continue to love OSU.

OSU will likely be a unanimous #2 in the computers, and that will give them .960 points for that portion.

Arkansas will be a unanimous #4, that gives them a .880 for that portion. That means Arkansas has to be #3 on EVERY ballot and OSU #4 or worse on EVERY ballot for Arkansas to simply tie OSU in the standings.

Posting actual math isn't allowed on the SEC rant. You're wrong bro, just because. No other reason; it just seems wrong so you're wrong

It has already happened to a team in the SEC who lost in OT at home. Just saying.

Yeah, that's comparable.

Bama: lost to #1 in OT

OSU: lost to a 5-4(2-4) in 2OT

I don't think that will happen.

We should be #4 in the computer polls which will allow the human voters to bump us past Ok St.

You do realize that the computers care about where the teams are now, not where they were coming in? Iowa State will rise, Ga Southern will fall along with Miss St.

Also, for the millionth fricking time, the BCS computers are far more favorable to rewarding wins than they are for punishing you for losses. Do any of you realize that Oklahoma was ahead of Arkansas by an average of 1.5 spots even with their loss to Texas Tech?

Do you people realize that OSU was TIED with LSU in the computers, despite LSU having wins over Bama and Oregon?

I don't think that many people understand that being #3 in the human polls does not equal being 2/3 better than #4. Ark is only 2/3 better than osu if they get every single voters 3rd place vote and osu gets every single 4th place vote.

You have to look at the point breakdown of the voting. If ark is number 3 with 1320 points and osu 4th with 1300 points that does not equate to a full 1 spot above osu. There are 60 voters and ark needs to be at least 60 points above osu to get the full 2/3 benefit from a human poll.

The fact that you have posted "standford" twice in this thread leads me to believe you have no clue how the BCS works, much less the specifics of the computer polls.
