Why do any fans (but particularly LSU ones) think it bothers us how much “we” paid? Jimbo’s salary was paid for (or at least guaranteed) by elite, super wealthy donors, none of which post on the sec rant, and probably not any of the other A&M message boards.
If jimbo ends up not being the answer, we will just go out and throw money at another coach. Eventually we will hit the right combo and it will work out. Too bad other schools can’t afford to go out and hire expensive coaches.
And just to keep it more on topic, Arky did overpay for their coach big time. I’m sad there were plenty of us aggies who wanted him to potentially be our coach as well. A unproven guy like that who has no HC experience in power 5 shouldn’t be making anywhere close to 4 mil a year. Maybe half that.

Jimbo is a huge waste of money. He is getting paid more in millions than A&M will have wins

It's true though. The school doesn't hurt for much of anything, and Fisher likes it at A&M because we aren't tight-fisted like FSU. We are happy. Apparently the rest of the SEC is happy

Even if Arky fires Morris at the end of the season, he’ll they should fire him by Thanksgiving to make a point. They will still have at least another 3-4 years of no relevancy before they can claim anything because of the recruits fitting Morris’s scheme which obviously doesn’t work in the SEC. What has this man shown you other than, HOW TO LOSE in the SEC
