Okay. What is your version of what happened here?

Arkansas DoP broke a yearly agreement between A&M and Arkansas in which the "visiting" team provided tickets to the "home" team recruits, since it is a neutral site game. It has been done every year without a problem until for some reason this guy decided that Arkansas no longer wanted to play fair. They essentially shot themselves in the foot.

So, would the Aggie boy be a "guest" of Arkansas and be on their sidelines, or would he be allowed to go to the Texas A&M sidelines?

No one is paying for anything though...those tickets are provided for automatically

There should be an agreement between the programs on how to handle this

Are they refusing all ATM recruits, or just the commits, or just the lippy commits who show their arse on social media?

Tickets, food, and transportation are paid for by the AD. Tickets come out of allotment which schools get revenue for. So when they dont get revenue for the game, they are essentially paying for it.

I don't know. A&M and Arkansas fans here have totally different versions of the issue. I would have figured because one reason neutral site games like Birmingham,Jackson, etc waned in addition to schools wanting home games was the NCAA eventually prohibited recruits from attending these games.

I'm surprised both teams entered into this arrangement without having total control over what recruits got to attend and the "home team" issue only be pertinent for jersey colors.

I honestly have no knowledge of this agreement, not saying it isn't true. If it does exist how do we know that it has always been upheld. The only way we knew about this is a commit posted it on twitter. Not every commit would do that.

I would like to know this too. I'm all for putting a cocky arse punk bitch in his place so if it's just this guy then I'll be even more tickled.

I've never heard of this alleged agreement before now. None of our recruiting guys have ever mentioned it either so I'm doubting it's true. It sounds like this is just something Taylor Hamm is trying to push to keep his name relevant. Either way, it looks way worse on behalf of the A&M commit than us.

I would have personally worded it a little differently, but Arkansas guy is in the right on this one.

Gotta love shite like this. It's the equivalent of a guy trying to pull a scam over on a retail customer service worker, and then when it doesn't work, he forgets it's a scam and starts yelling at the desk person like his honor has been attacked.

Hey, I like the idea of a guy gaming a soulless machine to get something small for free. Good on this guy for trying. But when it doesn't work, you don't get to act like you've been wronged and you're the victim somehow. Cut your losses and try it again somewhere else.

I'm pushing 60 now, but my brother in law has me a ticket for the game. (Fixed income). But I swear after reading this I may knock the shite out of a couple A&M fans Saturday afternoon.
