From the BCS' official site:

The Bowl Championship Series (BCS) is a five-game showcase of college football; designed to ensure that the two top-rated teams in the country meet in the national championship game, while creating exciting and competitive matchups among eight other highly regarded teams in four other games.

Leave it to an Arky fan to not know what a BCS bowl is. I wonder if Arky fans read this site and are embarrassed by their brethren who post here -- there are some dumb ones.

Yes.
Why it it so hard for you to comprehend that bowl games occur at one site every year while the BCS Championship game is rotated every year.

The Bowl Championship Series (BCS) is a selection system that creates five bowl match-ups involving ten of the top ranked teams in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), including an opportunity for the top two to compete in the BCS National Championship Game.
The BCS relies on a combination of polls and computer selection methods to determine relative team rankings, and to narrow the field to two teams to play in the BCS National Championship Game held after the other college bowl games. The American Football Coaches Association is contractually bound to vote the winner of this game as the BCS National Champion, which guarantees that team at least a share of the national championship.
The system also selects match-ups for the other prestigious BCS bowl games. The ten teams selected include the conference champion from each of the six BCS conferences plus four others.

Dale single handedly improved OSU's BCS winning percentage to 80% today.
Thanks, Dale!

Dale's technically right.
It's called the BCS National Championship "Game", not BCS National Championship "Bowl".
It's called the BCS National Championship "Game", not BCS National Championship "Bowl".

It's still a bowl. Just because bowl is not in the name, that doesn't mean it's not a bowl.

It is a game played days after the bowl game at the bowl site.
Otherwise the SEC championship game would be considered a bowl.

If all post season championship games are in fact "bowls" then the SEC Championship game is one as well.

Dsle is right you friggin idiots. The BCSNCG is not a bowl. It's played at a bowl site, but technically is not a bowl game. The BCS bowls are the big 4. So you're saying we're having 2 Fiesta Bowls this year??? That makes a lot of sense. So, no - YOU'RE wrong and HE'S right.

It is not a BCS bowl. Sugar, Fiesta, Rose, and Orange are the BCS bowls, I figure you would have lost in enough of them by now to notice the distinction.
Are you high?
