Yeah hate to break it to faggie but no one in the SEC gives two shits about their band and I have never went to a game thinking "Oh man I can't wait for halftime so I can see the bands play!"
That is not true. The SEC has great band music. MSU has good band music.

Hell yeah, fat girls need lovin too. Of course you are an Aggie so I can see how the form of a woman can make you a little sick to your stomach.

I remember them playing Green Day in LR in 07 (McFadden's last game in Arkansas, only reason I went to a game at WMS).

Some of us go for both. College football is an experience. I can have my cake and eat it too.

I like MSU's traditional band music. Go State and that other one. The SEC West in particular has great band music, aggie included.

That means DaleDenton = icky
Yep, that checks out.

Go ahead and laugh. It's no more special than the Golden Band From Tigerland, Million Dollar Band, Pride of the Southland, etc.

I didn't say it was more special, only laughing that you think it's not "different."
Silly goose

I don't even know what the hell a M.O.B. is. That's how many fricks I have to give about band.
DaleDenton gave the correct but incomplete answer. M.O.B. is Rice's Marching Owl Band. One thing that sets them apart is they aren't funded or sanctioned by Rice, so they feel free to do pretty much what you'd expect a bunch of smartaleck braniacs to do: Make fun of people. They're very entertaining, even if you're the butt of their joke. (Of course not all Aggies have seen it this way.)
This may get me fired from the club, but I also admire the tu band. I admit I may be biased over their tribute at the bonfire game, but I've always thought they were very good.
I haven't been to enough games to form an opinion on others, though Ole Miss put on a good show.

They won me over with their bonfire tribute

Heh. Good answer.
I'm hopeful DaleDenton lost track of what was being responded to by Mr. Cowbell. Here's a reminder because this will just never get old:

Even more unbelievable is the thread is still on subject and still talking about bands.

They do. When A&M played Rice, I noticed that the Rice University Band played a nice rendition of "Louie Louie". I also like Stanford's band but as a spectator, there's a few traditional black colleges and universities that are my favorite.

Meh, all we ever got fro Texas was SEC!SEC!SEC! chants.
Of course we played a little Straight for all the SWC that year (All my exes live in Texas).
