Not sure what he was thinking as that looked like a straight up 6-4-3 double play ball to end the game.
It was a very entertaining game. Felt bad for the hog players and head coach DVH, but glad to see Tigers win.

Dude, I am not sure why people are thinking this was wrong. That is what you are taught from PeeWees, get the lead runner with less than 2 outs. He thought about that before receiving the ball, he did not even hesitate. It was muscle memory.

I know what you are saying but it's situational awareness. You have to know if it's sharp hit ground ball you try to turn 2. It's something you think about before the ball was even hit
