I wouldn't expect them to have us very high since most of our young guys are unproven...

One thing: Proven production (generally) trumps potential.

That list is a joke. Ole Miss, Mizzou, and South Carolina are their top 3?
The best thing is how they use "potential" to justify placing those teams at the top, but at the same time use lack of experience and potential to hold back Auburn on the list.
Auburn probably has more potential talent than those 3 schools combined at WR.
4 sophomores (Nate Craig-Myers, Kyle Davis, Darius Slayton, and Eli Stove) who all showed NFL talent, play making, and explosoveness last season. All 4 have great hands, size, and all the necessary tools.
A redshirt freshmen (Marquis McClain) who is said to be potentially better than all 4 of those guys. And a true freshmen (Noah Igbinoghene) who was a highly ranked 4* and a state champion sprinter and hurdler.
Add on two slot WRs (Ryan Davis, and Will Hastings) who won't play in the NFL but are sure handed and perfect for their job.
We have 8 guys that are all very very talented. Having Auburn ranked 9th while that is their top 3 is a joke.

Bowl, I would be very interested in your honest ranking of each position group at Auburn.

I bet they have a lot of yards. I think Allen pushes the single season passing record (SEC) if the hogs go bowling. Doesn't mean they have the best wr unit though. In fact they are probably not even in the top half of the league.

QB- can't really say right now. I think we end up top 5. If we're ranking the "unit" as in not just the starter, I don't think many teams are as comfortable with their backup if the starter goes down as Auburn is.
RB- 3rd or 4th now, but could end up higher. (I've seen some that already have us 2nd)
WR- top 5. If we were ranking solely on talent alone it could be as high as 2nd.
TE/ H-Back- this one is impossible for me to say. We only have 2 TEs and only one had played at all (2 catches, 2 TDs for his career), the other is JUCO. They are talented though, so I'll say 10th
OL- 1st
DL- 3rd (great potential though)
LB- 4th
DB- 4th (CBs 3rd, Safeties 4th) but like RB, I've seen some lists that have our DBs ranked 2nd
K- 1st (in the entire world)
P- we don't have one yet so 14th
ST- (1st in coverage, top 5 in returns)
