Arkansas signee Catrell Wallace arrested for Sexual Assault of 12-Year Old

SALINE COUNTY, Ark. — According to Benton police, Catrell Wallace, a University of Arkansas football recruit was arrested on Monday, Feb. 24 for sexual assault of a 12-year-old and telling witnesses to lie.
He was arrested on felony counts of second-degree sexual assault and tampering with physical evidence.
18-year-old Wallace was booked in the Saline County jail on Monday.
Wallace, a Bryant football standout, helped lead the Hornets to their first state championship over North Little Rock in December 2018.
He was the third commitment from Arkansas in the recruiting class of 2020, and the 16th overall.
Wallace is also a Bryant High School senior.
Bryant Public Schools released the following statement:
"We were made aware of the arrest of one of our students. At this time, we have no information that the alleged incident happened at school or at a school-sponsored event. We consider this a law enforcement investigation and refer all questions to the Benton Police Department."

That's horrible and terrible and all sorts of bad but who knows the story behind this until all the facts come out.
Girls can look a lot older than they actually are sometimes and plenty of girls are putting out at 12 and 13 these days.
Not condoning it in the least, I have daughters, but this kid's life is about to be absolutely ruined and who knows what happened.
If he knew and if he forced himself upon her then he should be thrown under the jail.
Crazy shite happens in HS though. Always has, always will.

Hey it's happened A LOT of times .... ask Jake LaMotta.
There have been thousands and thousands of cases where it's happened. That's why you ALWAYS ask to see an ID and coaches these days are telling their players to take pictures of the IDs with their phones and if there are any doubts turn and run away.
Girls throw the,selves at athletes.
Now, if further stuff is coming out and the whole story is now that he knew and still did it ... then frick the kid, let him get what he deserves. I'm not defending him I just know of a couple of cases where 12 and 13 year old girls looked 18 or older when they were dressed up and in makeup and I know a couple of kids who had their lives practically ruined for it until both girls came forward and admitted they lied and used fake IDs to gain entry to the party.
It happens ALL the time all over the country.

I realize it’s HARD for boomers since they grew up marrying 13-14 year olds, but no one is getting fooled into banging a 12 year old and I feel gross that you’ve even typed that out twice now.

As I posted on the AR board, he also tried to cover it up. I just don't believe with Instagram and SC etc, he didn't know she was a child.
Regardless, there's an age of consent law for a reason. Don't be a dumb arse. No booty is worth a felony and sex offender status.
