Arkansas is a fraudulent sec champion having not played the top teams in the conference, losing both series against the other top 5 teams they played, and 2-4 against the top 5 of the SEC. FRAUDS.

Kind of weird that Arkansas lost all their series against Top SEC teams but still won the SEC.

All that really matters in softball is getting to Oklahoma City. SEC Titles are nice, but nobody remembers them a few years later. They remember how you did in OKC.

I thought this was obviously a pity thread, but am not super familiar with softball. Thanks for confirming.

FYI, a title in softball in the SEC is not an easy thing. It may be one of the most competitive sports in the entire conference.

Dunno. For the program in Fayetteville, last night was a pretty big deal. The softball program has literally been an embarrassment for most of its existence. In recent years, they won 1-2 regular season league games. Diefel was hired and things have changed.
This would be similar to Alabama making a Final Four in basketball. Shits never happened, once it does it’s a big deal to the program.
