His 1st year was fantastic, his last 3 yr average is very mediocre by Auburn standards.

And unless he can reach that 9 win mark AND win a damn bowl game against a higher quality opponent than Memphis in the B'ham Bowl, Gus could be in the market for another HC job. I get the feeling that patience is running thin within the Family. It's put up or shut up this season, no excuses left in the tank if huge improvements aren't made.
