In the Liberty Bowl, Kansas almost pulled out an all-time comeback to win the game. Came up short in a 3 OT thriller.

In the basketball game, Arkansas did what Kansas football couldn’t - finished an all-time great comeback to win the game.

The football game was one of the worst involving the refs that I have seen in years.

I can't watch the 4th quarter of that game (even knowing we won), without my blood pressure shooting through the roof.

Arkansas I think had 48 players in this game.

Kansas was holding just about on each down. I guess the refs were sympathetic because the game was lopsided and let a lot of potential calls slide.

shite one Kansas offensive lineman held an Arkansas player to the ground and nothing was called.

It was bad. Kansas played as hard as they could but we beat the crap out of them and they were slide tackling us and not getting called for it. Game shouldn’t have been close. Last night’s game could’ve gone either way and I’ll take the W. I don’t know if self being there was a boon or burden, but given our teams wild inconsistency and comparing both teams’ season records, I’d think those factors offset at best.

Win probability stats are so dumb

In terms of usable data, my heart rate and blood pressure readings would have given you the same information for both games.

Some were making excuses that if Self was coaching then they would have won.

I mean, Bill Self is probably worth an extra point or two, let’s not kid ourselves.

Right…. Then I guess we pull the injury card, the ref card, the freshmen card, and the KU home game card?

the ref card

Kansas boards thought they were the ones getting screwed by the refs.

Well you still have to have the players and Arkansas just had better players.
