I still remember their Cheer while firing one of their Best Coaches to hire another Dud.
Give E' Hell! Hell give Em' Emory! and so they fired Emory Bellard...

It is not a coincidence that A&M's best years came immediately after Arkansas announced we were leaving the SWC.
A&M had their best success when they were not competing directly with Arkansas for the recruits that Texas didn't want.
That's something they overlook conveniently.
Now, Arkansas and LSU are all up in their recruiting area. I predict bad things for A&M. Bad, bad things...

Damn, did I sleep through the announcement that Signing Day was already here?
Doubtful your class changes much in ranking on signing day. With the new rules, teams are scouting and offering much earlier than before. Arkansas is so far behind right now they just assume move on to the 2013 kids.

You really believe Arkansas will pull Texas kids that A&M wants? I don't see it myself. I doubt Arkansas can even go head to head with TCU now that they are in the Big XII.
Arkansas has never been a force in recruiting and now they have both TCU and A&M firming their footholds in their recruiting grounds. Both of those staffs are already on 2014 and 2015 kids and will have an entire year to get in their ears while Arkansas has no HC to recruit for the Hogs.
ETA just looked and TCU, Houston, SMU, Texas Tech, and even Baylor have better classes than Arkansas.

this right here says it all..small mind, small thinker. It isn't about arkansas. It is about winning the SEC. The problem with Arkansas is that they can't win a title, so they have to settle for beating teams instead. Also, I realize you are probably young, and don't understand completely...but they have a huge advantage in recruiting now that they are a member of the SEC. If you can't see that, then you are pretty ignorant to recruiting. You are on here basing potential on pre-sec a&m...it is a huge difference now....and hell, let's face it, it took a melt down by a&m last year to even win that game.

yes, a&m is having a terrible recruiting year their first year in the SEC...lmao....arkansas has NEVER finished as high as they are now. I don't know if you are just young, or stupid, or both, but you are way off base here.

yet atm still can't beat us.....
so, your point is what again?

Because their recruiting will be leaps and bounds above arkys....pretty simple when you look at the logic only ! But, I understand logic is not a strongpoint when it comes to the many pig posters here...LMAO

young and dumb is not a good combination. If you can't understand the recruiting point....no one can help you. I guess since you have lost to alabama the last 3 years....there is no chance you will ever beat them...lol

Obviously a coaching change is what we need

I wonder why aTm couldn't beat us if it was about recruiting?

Didn't read all and this might have been addressed so I'm sorry if it's repetitive.. Let me say this post is with no direspect to Ark. When Ark left for the SEC they immediately stopped playing any games in the State of Texas....this is a major factor of their lack of success that doesn't get brought up enough....Texas was a large portion of their recruiting base. In a short time, Texas high school kids quickly forgot who Ark was. Killed their recruiting.
This is not the case for A&M. First, let me address that we have been judged based on our Big 12 success or lack their of. Specifically, the last 10 years where we have made some very poor coaching moves. I think everyone can agree with that. Bama, not to point you guys out, but you are a great example of what I'm talking about. Not that long ago Bama had several years of mediocrity...why? Bad coaching hires...and you are welcome we took Fran off your hands...in comes Saban...rest is history. Sumlin, the jury is still out, but I think no one can say he isn't succeeding so far...
Back on subject...A&M will not be leaving Texas...their recruiting has sky-rocketed...Arkys didn't when they left. The fact we have not succeeded in the past 10+ years in the Big 12 is fair, but we didn't completely suck...we did win a big 12 championship and played in another.
Ark, don't compare your entrance into the SEC to A&M's because it's not the same. A&M has a greater potential for success based on recruiting...and that is where it starts...coaching is how it ends...we'll find out that part soon enough

I'm guessing the aggies would have loved to have Houston Nutt for 10 years?
Posted on 7/27/12 at 3:08 pm to sugatowng
I like how A&M talks about having shitty coaches when we had houston nutt for half of our time in the SEC
They've had better recruiting classes than us for a while. hasnt meant anything. If they have slightly better recruiting classes now but they are in a tougher conference wouldnt that just mean theyd stay the same?

hey frick face...i'm old enough to be your parent probably.
maybe you need to use your young dumb brain to recognize that we own atm even with their recruiting advantages.

Baylor - 1 4* recruit, 13 3*, 4 2*, 1 NR
TCU - 1 4* (5'11 LB), 9 3*, 1 2*, 1 NR
Houston - 9 3*, 2 2*, 1 NR
SMU - 5 3*, 11 2*
Texas Tech - 9 3*, 1 4*, 3 NR
So basically you didn't really look at why we were ranked where we were. All of these schools have more recruits at this point. Hell, we have more than we thought we would have...considering we are hiring a new coach in December
