We have already earned it. By offering the SEC Network millions more potential customers than Arky can we have earned a favored status with the SEC front office.

Why do you think Bama let us in this fine league?
It surely wasn't because of our history. We didn't deserve the invite based on our history.
It is because of what Bama/the SEC office thinks they can build us up to be.
And they have a history there. When USC was taken Clemson was by far the biggest program in the state and now they are at least even.
If the SEC succeeds in doing that with A&M the SEC will be the richest league in the land by far.
Just wait, you will see.....

A realistic aggie? Glad to meet you. Now when y'all going to beat us? I don't see it in the next two years but after that maybe who knows with all our turmoil and u all entering the sec west.It took us a while although the talent was better in the east at that time.

OMG.... you know, at first I was wanting aTm to finally get the balls to tell Texass that they weren't going to continue slobbing their knob.

At some level you are comparing A&M's track record of failure vs the SEC's track record of success.
Considering the fact that we are completely willing to follow the SEC's orders I expect the SEC's track record of success to win out.
If it turns out A&M's track record of failure is more powerful as yall claim then in the long run expansion will greatly hurt the SEC and by extension Arky.
You can't win.

Probably so. We are still Texan. We are basically Texas without the success.

You are severely over-valuing your program. You begged to join the Sec because Texas got their own network.
Why? Because Texas is the biggest name in the state. Remember, you came to us, it's not like the Sec needed exposure. You're good for some extra cash, congrats. You're not some juggernaut football program that the league will cater to just because your campus is in Texas.

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying we are the new Bama. Or heck, I am not even saying we are on the level of the Big 6.
What I am saying is that Bama and the Big 6 care about our success more than yours or programs at your level.
Hence why we were able to take the USC AD, and why we will take the LSU T-Weekend game.
