I will give Arkansas credit, their players have obviously bought in with Pittman and he made two strong coordinator hires that are really helping him out.

I don't know if their personnel situation is going to allow them to win many games this year, but they are clearly in a much better spot than they ever were under Morris. They had a great gameplan against State and executed it very well.

Meh. A&M owns Arkansas regardless of who the terrible football coach in Fayetteville is.

LOL the only thing A$M owns is a stupid Athletic Director for paying 75 million for a coach that can't win a big game. You've always been the Texas stepchild and year after year your a letdown in all sports. You do know how to throw money in the wind, I'll give you that.

This stat just emphasizes to me how shitty a coach Chad Morris is.

This is really cementing his legacy as the worst hire in SEC history

Pittman is off to a great start. Love seeing a focus on D and dominating lines of scrimmage again in the SEC. Plus, he seems like a really good dude who has waited a long time to lead a team. Wish him the best.

That said, if ge keeps losing games he controlled for the majority of the game, remember, it could be worse. Georgia led or was tied with Bama for 119 of 120 minutes of their last two meetings and all Kirby and the Dawgs have to show for it are 1 less SEC title and a continuation of a now 40 yr national title drought.

You’re not wrong at all, but for this very brief moment in time we are happy/satisfied. Do you know how long it’s been since we’ve been happy? Or better yet have you felt the agony yourself? I do not believe you’ve encountered such futility in your football life, sir. Good day.

lol... no one here has endured 20 straight conference losses.

But, I am a Braves fan. Going from never winning anything to a decade plus of postseason appearances with only 1 WS title to show for it, and just now having one their first post-season series of any sort since 2001 (coupled with a fairly horrible period between Stallings and Saban), I can empathize with the situation. Sometimes just being competitive again is a major boost to fan morale.

The crazy thing is that they managed to do that with the offense actively working to sabotage the team. Until Briles’s offense starts being efficient it is a major detriment to the team as a whole. His offense plays so quick that you can’t afford for it not to work. So far it hasn’t but the hogs defense has been good enough that the team has still been competitive. I don’t think it’s sustainable though. Arkansas will either fix its offense and become a very legitimate team or they won’t and the defense will eventually break.

Yeah the offense hasn't looked good but the first game was against the best defense in the country and the next one we lost our two best offensive players in Boyd and Burks early in the game.

Hopefully both of them aren't out too long.

I wonder what it feels like too have State as the highlight program win in years and years.

I mean I absolutely don't want to ever have to be in that type of gutter trash position. I just want to keep it at wondering.
