I see now. SMU up on the number 16 Horned Frogs. Safety off a blocked punt just gave SMU a 9 point lead.

99 total yards outside of a very busted play at the beginning? Sounds like a great offense.

Not flaming, but I really don't think this was a good hire. Basketball on grass shite doesn't work in the SEC. You're defense will always suffer.
You can run a spread but you absolutely have to concern yourself with TOP and field position

Agreed, we should look at a guy that prides himself on TOP.
Some of our best teams in the last 25 years were basically always trying to outscore the opponent

His offense is most similar to Auburn and they seem to be doing ok.
And yes I realize we don’t have the defense of Auburn but we wouldn’t no matter what style we have anyways.

The problem this year is lack of Oline and a bit more talent, experience in the system. But basketball on grass doesn't describe Chad Morris at all.
When he has the talent, he wants to hand his had on the running game to set up the pass. With Run First Pass Option and with a Qback who has some wheels as well.
It will work, with the right horses coming in .. take a bit of time. But... Even with the struggles we will have this year, the game is much more fun to watch.
