As a Creighton fan, I’m looking forward to your regional. What should I know about the Omahogs, and what would you like to know about the best Bluejays squad we’ve had in a while?

I know the hogs are going to be able to swing it. Haven’t really seen a team/pitching staff stifle them.

Our likely starting pitcher (root) has struggled lately. The team hasn't hit well lately, and our fielding looked like the Bad News Bears in the SEC tournament.

The hogs are as Jekyll and Hyde as any team in the country. We are just as likely to sweep our way to Omaha as we are to drop the first two games. Being at home helps, but I don't think we make the final 8 this year. Pitching is too up and down.

As a team, Creighton (41-14) bats .284 while allowing opponents to bat .243, with a 406-258 advantage in runs. They’re definitely an offensive team. They tend to build big leads and then almost choke them away, but their pitching typically comes in clutch.

I hope that the winner of the CWS comes out of the Fayetteville regional. Three of my top five favorite schools are in it.
