Against in-state schools.
Statewide radio shows getting slammed with callers saying Arkansas has everything to lose and nothimg to gain after getting throttled by tUniversity of Arkansas at Little Rock, in Fayetteville.

There is nothing scary about playing them to me. I just don't see the point.
It is always going to be their super bowl, and will be another midweek noncon game for us.

Wrong attitude. There is literally nothing to be upset about in losing a mid-week game. It's freaking baseball. Cheap Tuesday night games make the season easier, win or lose.
Now, if it becomes a habit...….but DVH knows what he's doing

LSU plays pretty much every in state school every year. We lose a couple of them every year also. Still get a national seed just about every year.
They don't matter. No one is going to give one flying shite at the end of the year that you lost to Little Rock on a Tuesday. Just like no one is going to give a shite that LSU lost to McNeese.

State plays them every year as well, to the detriment of their RPI. The cost savings and the goodwill created makes it worthwhile

Didn’t realize Arkansas fans were so insecure before reading this post.
I laughed.
It’s baseball. Take your licks. LSU gets beat by in state schools every year. We realize this is their big game so you’re basically throwing one of your worst pitchers against one of their best.
It’s a rarity in football or basketball, but baseball is a different animal.
Just go out and have fun with in state schools and stop thinking your world is over.
If you could endure that pathetic football season then this is just a hiccup.

I'm good with that.
It's important to distinguish tFlagship campus from branch campuses. We do it for enrollment and endowment figures, and don't even count UAMS or UAMSNW in any of the research $$ we report, etc.
I'd be insulted if a UAM graduate claimed they attended tUniversity of Arkansas. Cheapens it.
