He most likely didn't make the first round of cuts and is trying to save face. I don't blame him.

You must not then because your 247 site reported him being a top candidate and LSU fans have been talking about poaching him on the recruiting board.
No worries though. All fan bases on here act like this when their school gets turned down by a coach/recruit.

They reported him as being vetted to be hired last year when Tony Ball was hired days later. So, I'm not sure we can believe everything that 247 says about our coaching searches.
