Idk if the bench will be this effective against SEC teams, but we're a lot better with Gafford on the bench than we used to be.

This is almost always due to a lack of movement on offense. Guys are getting a little too trigger happy. They'll get it corrected in the second half I'll bet.
With past teams I wouldn't have been confident in saying that, but these guys are different. They play smart and take coaching on the fly. They'll be alright.
In the meantime, the defense is looking stout. They're hitting a few 3s but that's always going to happen against us if the other team is loaded with shooters.
Keep the game up and down the court and it won't matter. Averages won't allow it unless they have a couple Isaiah Joe's over there, and I doubt it.

Normally we would be a bad spot in a game like this when we aren't forcing many Turnovers but because our half court defense is so much better than previous years, we are fine.

Texas lost to VCU. 3rd loss in a row. That Texas loss is getting worse and worse.
